I've only seen a handful of episodes, but I feel like I've gotten a pretty good idea of what's to come. The show has taken a similar approach to The Walking Dead in terms of different groups and different story lines as well as the technical side of things. By this I mean that they are fighting not only the undead, but also various different groups of people. What I find to be refreshing, though, is the pure amount of suspense that has been brought to the table. With a mix of ruthless zombies similar to those of World War Z, the survival aspects of TWD, and long-lasting scenes that do a great job of mimicking possible real-life scenarios, Black Summer is a fantastic and electrifying show that is a must watch for zombie-lovers and thrill-seekers alike.
