The movie is not as bad as I heard it was. It was more suspenseful than it was a horror movie. The main character tried to get away from the "roots" (pardon the pun) that he had grown up with as a child, and it was those same old teachings that made him victorious in the end. I thought it was a good movie...not a great one, but a good one. I was surprised they didn't chain him up or prevent him from going about, I guess they thought he was too weak...I don't know. that surprised me. Other than that I liked it.
