'Bulbbul', a dark faminist fable.
Probably the only horror movie which will leave you thinking about double standard society norms. Its not a scary horror flick its not made to scare you it instead makes you deeply think the ghost that exist inside the society/people. This film features in late 19th century Bengal and it's clearly shows that some major issues like domestic violence, child marriage and sexually abuse type of problems women faces in that time and how one girl teaches a lesson to men valley thinking holders...
Cinematography is really appreciable, dialogues, background music and the most important acting was incredible specially the charecter of Bulbbul the transformation in her performance from a simple and innocent girl to a matured and mysterious woman is a mystery. Her eyes speak volumes, there is a sadness and depth in her eyes which you feel once you know her pain, her sufferings and how she behaving like a normal people..
But after some scenes you can predict who is 'chudal'.
If these kind of movies are made in our country then surely the level of our entertainment industry will be risen...
I personally recommended you all to watch this movie at once......
