Had hoped with Chuck Todd leaving the show would get back to a host of integrity like Tim. That has not been the case unfortunately. I’ve not even bothered to learn her name because she is Chuck in a skirt. She isn’t original, a journalist, or unbiased. She lacks the ability to stop guests from sidestepping her questions and lacks the power to shut down guests rehearsed diatribes that are in no way a response to the questioned she asked.

Margaret is a Dem mouthpiece. I’m not a Republican, but even I get tired of her open bias. Softball questions and no pushback against left leaning guests and gotcha questions and constant interruptions for anyone that pushes back on left leaning narratives. Maybe get Megyn Kelly to be cohost. Brennan can interview GOP and Kelly interview Dems so that it’s truly Press having adversarial role with government for the good of the American people.

Great show with strong cast. Each character has their flaws and redeeming qualities. Bradford seems the most thin and also most cliche character. Could do with some new writing on his behalf, or just remove him and replace him with a character of more depth, but since his exwife showed up it's been complete transparency in his story line. Also Chen could have more depth and not just serve as Nolans romantic interest. Though given the midseason finale, it seems that is exactly the role the character is supposed to fill. Hoping 2nd half of the season isn't as clearly laid out as it seems, otherwise there wont be any suspense or reason to continue watching. Show rests on being a drama and not police procedural. Without the suspense necessary for a drama, this show doesn't really have a place.
