For a stand alone movie with no current TV show or series to base off, Sonic The Hedgehog is exactly what I would expect. It is a fun movie, with a fair amount of references to the video game and the classic cartoon that I grew up with. Jim Carey makes for a really fun villain and helps drive the plot forward. My only real disappointment with the movie is too much usage of the blue lightning, and the fight scenes could have been choreographed a little better. But overall the movie is far better than I expected and would watch again and bring my nieces, nephews, and cousins to see. I recommend the movie, and I hope there will be a sequel.

Loved the movie, More Zilla less ppl would of made me happier.
