Agree with the steep learning curve especially if using a wheel setup. Cannot comment on controller as i havent played this game with controller as yet. Not a fan of the handling model of the FWD cars you start your career in. If you dont have patience, dont play FWD cars with a wheel as many may be put off by crashing into trees or rolling off cliffs early game. Having said that, RWD and 4WD cars i cannot fault as they are alot easier to get used too. As a beginner i would suggest using these types of cars first although your career progress will suffer.
