As a huge fan of Queen, I was very much looking forward to the film. But I came away feeling underwhelmed by the film and various other depictions not mentioned in your story. For example, the film rushed through the band's early formative years at warp speed, making it appear that the band's "big" break was an appearance on Top of the Pops. They played Killer Queen on Top of the Pops... BUT that song was on their THIRD album! They were well-known in England following their first two albums, both of which were very good. In addition, why was the film soundtrack playing Fat Bottomed Girls (from the late 70's) at a point in the movie when they're just gaining widespread popularity? Rami Malek didn't impress me as Freddie Mercury.... Freddie spoke at a rapid rate in a refined/regal manner, whereas Malek too often communicated in a very slow, dull, zombie-like voice.
