Jackson – Google

Personally, I loved everything about this movie. Aside from the aunt ~ Susan Sarandon's performance was absolutely cringe. Looking at her movies, she doesn't do a lot of serious type roles and now we know why. In any case, I liked the length, storyline, character development and such. I also REALLY loved the fact that it incorporated Latinos and Spanish here and there. High key wish there was even more throughout. The focus on family was also quite refreshing. It's a hard thing to do, incorporating family, but I must say that they did a really good job with this one imo. Overall, I may very well watch it again at a later time ~ which is not something I often find myself doing. Outside of Man of Steel, this makes number two (2) for a DC movie I would watch again ~ without being bored and having nothing else to watch that is (so willingly).

Honestly not sure how to feel about this. What I have come to notice is that Apple TV appears to specialize in slow burns. With this series, it was no different. I watched it but honestly felt like nothing really happened outside the last 5 min of every episode. There were some cliffhangers but nothing that really brought me back to it aside from having nothing else to watch. The visuals are nice and I appreciated the storyline somewhat but feel like they had more opportunity to make it more engaging/dynamic and simply chose not to. I saw a comment on here that said they 'wanted to love it' and that's what I felt with each episode. I wanted to love it but in the end, I was never sold ~ even after having finished it. Will be interesting to see what they do in the next season if it gets one.
