Love this movie! I've watched it at least a half a dozen times. Beautiful in so many ways.

Really enjoyable, cute, funny, full of heart. Not too serious, not too fluffy, just about right. I agree with another reviewer who called it "an underrated gem." I've watched it probably 10 times at this point. I may never get tired of it. This film might surprise you, if you give it a shot. And it doesn't hurt that openly gay, lead actor, Evan Todd is freaking adorable! (The rest of the cast aint bad to look at either, especially Parker Young and Chord Overstreet). Critics seem to be split on this film, but it seems that audiences like it better than the critics do. It got an audience award for Best Drama Feature at Outfest.

Beautiful, sensuous, atmospheric, devastating tear-jerker. The ending hit me like a ton of bricks. I wasn't expecting that. Justin Chon (writer, director, lead role) is just fantastic. Alicia Vikander, Linh Dan Pham and supporting cast also very good. The point that the film makes is hammered home heavily. You can't possibly miss it. A brief coda highlights some real-life examples. Also, at times, I thought the musical score was a bit heavy-handed. The soundtrack, just released on Spotify, has 47 tracks(!), but the one track that I wanted to find wasn't included. After some digging, I found it: "In Fantasia", by Kishi Bashi. It is used in the trailer and in the film.

Really liked it. Great cast, great performances, great cinematography. I remember seeing the Hitchcock version decades ago and not really caring for the story. This version brings the story to life for me. It's full of humanity. Worth seeing a second time. The critics' complaints are overstated.

Wow! Boy, am I pleasantly surprised with this remake which I approached with some trepidation after having seen, and not particularly enjoyed, the original film many years ago. I "get" this script now, in a way that I just didn't with the original film. Great cast and great acting. I only wish I'd had the opportunity to see them on stage.

Heartbreakingly real depiction of a tiny slice of the struggle to overcome racial prejudice.

Ever been disappointed by something your spouse did? This movie is much better than the reviews would have you believe. I enjoyed it. In addition to being darkly comedic, it has interesting things to say on a variety of topics including relationships, marriage, gender, monogamy and parenting, among others.

A lovely addition to the experimental film series that began with "Paris, je t'aime", this movie is similarly a set of shorts, each from a different director. Unlike "Paris, je t'aime", where each short is distinct, "Berlin, I Love You" intermixes the scenes from various shorts into more of a movie format. I didn't much care for the second entry in the series, namely "New York, I Love You", but seeing this film makes me want to go back and view "Paris je t'aime" again. I think "Berlin, I Love You" is my favorite in the series and I will undoubtedly want to watch it again. The character with the angel wings is a clear reference to the 1987 classic film "Wings of Desire" where invisible angels descend on Berlin and comfort its distressed human inhabitants. German actor Robert Stadlober does a great job with the part.
