This movie shows the story of a man so beaten down by everyone above him that it showcases the true nature of humanity. It shows how truly terrible people can be to those who happen to fall below others in our social hierarchy. Through this movie you can also see what those above us can do to the people as a whole which can be seen through the bourgeois's treatment of the workers and how the workers rose up against their oppressors.
