The final episode was pretty bad for me. I could overlook most parts with the metaphysical mambo-jumbo…but the final episode overloads it and hammers you with it. I only kept watching it because I love Jodi Foster. If you suspend disbelief and just go with the flow I suppose it’s an entertaining season…but if you are looking for the awesomeness of season 1 in this you will be sorely disappointed.

The first season was the true nugget of genius. The characters, while flawed, had a kernel of goodness that gave the viewer something to enjoy and identify with. Unfortunately the second season has turned this around it’s really just a bunch of just shock value moments and the characters have regressed to mindless automations just going through the motions. The evil guys are more interesting and the “good” ones that you identified with in the first are just regressed to mindless automations that you can’t get behind. I’m impressed they even made it to where I don’t even care what happens to the daughter hailey...a truly impressive feat. As good as the first season was the second is just a shock value fest geared to try to shock you. This is after seeing six episodes of the second season...maybe it will turn around and get better but I recommend watching the first season and staying far away from the second.
