🚨SPOILER ALERT 🚨 So the criminal holding a couple at gunpoint notices a camera aimed at his car just before fleeing the scene of a home invasion and decides to stay 48 hours longer to get more money from his captors to start a new life. How does that make sense if he’s truly worried about being caught on camera? To pass the time while waiting for the money he decides to get to know more about his victims lives and they his. After the money arrives while exiting one of the victims breaks free and bludgeons the criminal over the head killing him before he escapes. Something that could have been done any time in the two days while eating meals, watching a movie together and having beers waiting for the money to arrive. Sorry, I can only suspend my disbelief so far. Would be a far better stage play than a movie 👎👎.

So much horrible underwear visuals and disjointed editing that half the time you can’t even get a bead on what’s truly happening which turns into a tedious plea to pray for it to end.

Feig appears to be going for a hip Euro style adult thriller but it’s so unbelievable and far fetched I couldn’t appreciate his overwrought and bludgeoning effort. Some movies have a sense of well crafting and esthetic that allow the viewer to be more than happy to suspend their disbelief while enjoying the surreal and or abstract ride they know they’re being taken on. Not this movie. After 2 hours all I walked away with was a hankering for Martinis. Dry ones.
