I’ve been struggling to determine if it’s the writing or acting that’s bad. I think honestly it has to be the writing and directing. Because some lines ,scenes, and responses Don’t make any sense. I watched and gave it a break and tried to come back, but it’s just so cringey. At first I thought it was just bad acting, but As I’m watching I’m feeling like it’s more bad writing and bad directing. It doesn’t seem believable enough. Like I Don’t believe these characters nor do I believe the story line. In some places it’s like they’re searching for a line or they’ve put a filler there because they Don’t know what do to. The emotion behind the words isn’t there. It’s just a no. 2 stars because it has potential. And better wigs! But this is not good.

There were so many episodes that were left incomplete that had me like, "why?' Like what was the reason for this to be written. Why did the first 30 minutes of the episode have nothing to do with the last 10, which is where horror actually began to happen? Is no one there but the dads? This teenage romance between scarlet and ruby is beyond cringy. The relationship seems high-key toxic, especially for a 16-year-old girl. The back story of ruby makes no sense, and since when do the ghost kill any visitor at the house (the therapist????) Also, why would there be a game made about it?? But why would the game end with scarlet and ruby finding each other if the house was burned down? Also, what happened to the 1234 other ghosts that have been in the house since its creation? It was all very confusing and very poorly written. This makes Roanoke, the worst of the AHS series, seem like a true gem. Alll together, no

Season 1- I Loved!! I finished the entire season in 2 days!! Everything about season 1 was great!! It was funny, exciting, and you got to see a lot of different areas of Australia. I loved it, recommended it to several people. But then I started watching season 2. Season 2- COMPLETE AND UTTER TRASH!! Everything that made season 1 so good they removed. They added another host who also acts as a judge which is trash. The fact that they no longer rate each other as guests also sucks because that makes the competition fun! Having just regular scores... is no fun, and you could read the air bnb reviews to see who would win the competition. The guest and judges eating with them during the final deliberation was also trash! Because votes can be swayed and not based on honest opinions. Also not having two rounds completely sucked! Because these people have already seen their house, and could have personal biases. I do like the $10,000 they give to remodel, but this should be given to two separate teams, also bring back the trip prize!! Having a mix of groups prevents biases, and you can get honest opinions of the houses and not just the people. I see they’ve been renewed for season 3, hopefully they mimic the season 1 outline and not season 2. Or I won’t be watching it. Bring back Hunter, bring back Guest scores, and bring back the fun!! Or make it random couples who stay in the home to avoid unbiased results!!
