I happened onto this while channel surfing, I decided to watch because I like Mark Ruffalo, I started with episode 2, the story grabbed me immediately, and it felt eerily familiar, as I was trying to decide why it was so familiar, I realized it must have been a book I read, searching online brought me to the Wally lamb book, which I read years ago and just loved. I've only watched this one episode, but I'm impressed with the faithfulness to the book, which doesn't always happen, more impressive still is Ruffalo's performance, what a tour de force! The guy is in every scene, and totally grabs you, and takes you along for the ride, the supporting cast is superlative also. Some of the best acting I've seen in a very long time, totally worth watching!
