I used to Eve this if I couldn’t start my day with the episode that morning. You then changed format and asked for feedback. I hate it. I tune in to watch the celebrities, who are to be seen for a living. I liked the pairings up of stars who may never have even met. Interesting and fun types who do it professionally. Not to double up on uninteresting and dull common folk. I can get that at any of the thousands of Walmart’s country wide. And I can’t watch the mashed potato twins winning because they’ve been finishing each other’s sentences since birth. And to let them keep advancing time and time again in a seemingly rigged new set of rules was a disastrous choice. I can’t even stand going past CBS anymore on the clicker for fear of even a glimpse of how YOU ALL have destroyed my morning routine. Shame on all of You. You chose and deserve this failure.

Easy folks, pump the breaks a little here . . . The fact that this is fantasy disarms any academic critiques. If you didn’t find yourself personally touched and singing throughout, fine. The fact is many others will. For those not looking for wheel reinvention, and if a sweet spirited “What if?” backed by arguably the best modern music ever written sounds rewarding, then trust, because it is.

Pass on the beverages, I had to pee for 2 hours but literally was afraid to miss a second! Clever, witty, and expertly executed by all behind the cameras as well as in front, Game Night proves that comedy plus direction plus excellent cinematography (which was pleasantly unexpected) = the reason we still buy $12 popcorn
