Good movie if purely fictional, even better although sad, if based on actual events. I was preteen in the 70s and I grew up in CT. Was this how it was in the burbs? I remember hearing about key parties but didn't think they really existed. Sad ending either way...

I can't remember how the original ended but this one ended with the whole family (except the youngest member)burying one another in the pet semetary. Here lately, horror movies end stupidly with no real ending and this one continues along those same lines. So now what happens? Do they murder as a family and bring back everyone or just the ones they loved? Do they go back to being a regular dead family? Maybe now I need to go back and revisit the original to see if it ended just as dumb so that way this one will get a pass since it's the same movie...
