Martha Smith

I read this years ago and was as charmed by their story as I had been by the illustrations that made them famous. My mother had trained at the Academy in Philadelphia and had purchased the book. She shared it with me and I pointed out to her that it had been written by the daughter of her famous artist friends Jane and Ben Eisenstaedt. Mother passed in 2012 and I continue to share the book with others when it isn’t on my bookshelf.
