I was looking for something to watch and I found this on Netflix. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the writing, acting and the believability of the cast. I was going to give it four stars instead of five but I couldn't come up with a good reason not to give it five. So go ahead and watch at least the first episode.

Downton Abbey it ain't. But it is interesting and beautiful to watch. I would have given it four stars but I think the actors have not quite understood their roles. Some of them seem to be reciting their lines.. Still, Cynthia Nixon and Christine Baranski are wonderful and, as I say, it is beautiful and interesting to watch

I think so far it has been a mesmerizing two episodes, and the cast is almost perfect in their roles. I followed all of these people intently, beginning with the Clintons, the McDougal's and Whitewater. I expected some sort of whitewash of the Clintons but I can tell you that so far it has not happened.
