This is an out of print book and hard to find under £40 to £50.
I persevered and am really pleased that I did.
Written with Rathbone's razor sharp style, this is, however, like nothing of his I had previously read.
A short book of 223 pages, you'll almost certainly read it at one sitting - nothing to do with the shortness, simply that it is a spellbinding tale.
I'll give nothing away, other than to observe that it is a kind of Heart of Darkness meets Lord of The Flies with Shakespeare at his most glum thrown in. Highly recommended.
