This did not stand up to the wait or the hype. It was not terrible but was not a legendary television experience. It is watchable if nothing else is on. Hopefully season two will be better.

This is not the usual animê. It is filled with scathing, rapier wit and is a little fast-paced for the filthy casuals. If you like satire and loved shows like Gintama and Excel Saga, this show is a boon. If you are a drooly Naruto junkie who thinks DBZ is the greatest thing since sliced tofu, you will be lost.
