It's trash. The jokes aren't funny and the characters are too over the top and ridiculous to be considered human. The dialogue consists of things no actual person would ever say and it feels like it was written by a team of aliens. I have no idea how this show is so popular I've only seen 1 episode but it was agonizing. Barney acts like a 2-year-old and rigs a burrito to explode in friend's face and the lengths he goes through to do it and his obsession with it not only isn't funny but it makes no sense and it was impossible to relate to any of these characters because of the sheer unjustified absurdity of everything.
