One of the better bios made on cricketers. They did not flirt or skirt controversy, held a positive note and most of all the Journey of Emotions is very well done. Tapsee does a great job as do the actors who play Jhulan, Noorie and Shanta. The back story about Noorie is poignant. The film does a very good job in showing how sports women are treated by families and the country. The hardest hitting scene was BCCi giving used Tee Shirts of male players for the women's team.

This rates among the best movies I have seen, right next to Anand as a journey of emotions, as good as Rock On for Cathartic value, akin to Chak De for a sports film of excellence. I can watch this any number of times without feeling its a repeat. Each actor outperformed the other. The script and direction had subtle ways to give true justice to even the unsung heroes of 1983, for which I thank Kapil. Kudos to Kabir and Ranveer!

I love it, and wait for each new season. Even though English is my first language, I could not relate to the Steve Carrel version. But in the Indian version, it was Mukul Chaddha's hamming that actually brought the series to life. One can actually relate to it. The casting has been done very well, right fro the staid Gauhar Khan to the heavy duty Kutty. The show stealer, though, is clearly Gopal Dut as the CCO. A must watch for anyone working in an Indian Office. Episodes note to miss in Season are are 8 and 13.
