I found Mary Poppins Returns to be a pure delight from start to finish and, as for the comment about the two hour length, I, and most of those in the audience, thought that the movie went far too quickly...I will definitely be back and I am still humming several of the tunes especially Nowhere to Go but Up! It's remarkable that many of the negative comments don't mention the fact that this movie is from other stories in the P L Travers Mary Poppins collection and twenty-five years have past setting this one after WWI and within the "Great Depression" or "Great Slump" as the titles at the beginning let the viewer know...There are also a lot of Easter Eggs and unlisted cameos...See if you can spot Karen Dotrice, the original Jane Banks. I also love how Jane and Michael aren't snobs but quite the contrary...
