I'm not in her target demographic -- or at least I don't think so. I'm a 48-year-old father of two. This album slays. The pop songwriting is tight as hell, the production is killer, the guitars get noisy and discordant. I love everything about this album. The lyrics are self-aware and honest from a 20-year-old's point of view. She's not trying to be wise beyond her years. She's just living her life and singing about it. Write what you know, as they say. My album of the year so far. How people can pan this is beyond me.
