Disappointingly dull, hollow, poorly structured, gratuitous, a lack of any real plot, ridiculously unintelligent characters, cringe dialogue, a socio-political message that falls flat, and complete with an unsatisfying ending that doesn’t get me excited for the third and final film in this sequel trilogy. It’s a mess.. I was really expecting better, especially after how genuinely good 2018 turned out to be. But alas, the flaws and strange story decisions of 2018 were exacerbated in this sequel.. we got more blood and gore, that’s for sure, but at what cost?
