Thoroughly enjoyed this terrific historical drama. Acting first rate.

Even though I know much about Elvis’ life I absolutely loved this movie. The acting was superb and the final moments with Elvis Presley were moving.

I have watched Law and Order since its inception in the 1990's and have re-watched episodes ever since. I eagerly awaited its recent return but have been very disappointed. I was surprised at the stilted acting in the initial episode but recorded the shows and kept hoping for improvement. The original L & O, particularly the earlier years, displayed totally believable characters and acting, even with those delivering one line, and was completely natural. The writing was of the highest caliber. The current series, I can only conclude, fails in writing, direction and acting delivery. I am constantly aware that the actors are...ACTING. The actual stories are not compelling nor the conclusions surprising (I can't understand why the jury reaches its decision at times, in light of the poor arguments by the prosecution). All in all, the series reboot, for which I was excited, sadly lacks on every level.

A few days ago Max Kellerman defended LeBron James' quoting a rap lyric referring to Jewish money, as not racist and basically noting that we are too PC. I am Jewish but not religious, not a Zionist, not a zealot..but I am not ignorant. OF COURSE a reference to Jewish money goes to the heart of historical racism against Jews. It was at the core of Hitler's defense of his attempts to eliminate all Jews, and from Shakespeare and on, it is the epitome of a negative stereotype. I was infuriated particularly because Max Kellerman waves a liberal banner, defending every minority against attacks (which is terrific) but did not feel compelled to defend his own heritage. In fact, although I was a daily fan of First Take I cannot ever watch it again because seeing him brings out my anger. Even Skip and Shannon on Undisputed did a better job of coverage, basically referring to a racist undercurrent...not as evident but under the surface. Steven A constantly refers to Max as brilliant...not so much. He is not stupid, but definitely ignorant. I guess this is Max's "modern liberalism", showing that he won't defend his own.
