Extreme casual movie watcher. It was good in my opinion, and I really want to rate it higher. However, the one thing holding the movie back is the son. How can a kid be so stupid. I understand the loving nature of mother/son, but it doesn't excuse how stupid the kid is to blatantly do his own thing in a crisis instead of listening to his mother. It would have been so much better if they were brought into a situation, forcing his mother into a do or die situation, but the son made everything problematic for everyone. The entire plot was pushed forward through the hopes that the kid would do something stupid again, so the mother would have the chance to continue her story of saving her son.
