Refreshing and wholesome. Wonderful and fathomlessly beautiful filming. Every character is well cast and steals your heart away. Watching this show with my family is truly like a breath of fresh air!

Outstanding performances. Bruce was the only one I felt lite. I have to say the potrayel of the military a bit ridiculous and especially Bruce Willis' character just seemed to be lacking substance moreso due to poor writing and empty unrealistic script. I still loved it. Love Denzel in anything and Bruce is always a favorite. Ms. Benning was stellar as usual and her final scene was climactic and absolutely thrilling. Tony's character and performance in this is by far the thing I appreciated most about this film. He never disappoints and I wish there was more about his character and the family. What an incredible spinoff movie or show his character would make. We need more insight into the lives of our fellow Americans of Arab decent. My takeaway is that we all "feel" the patriot but nationalism without self government and respect for the holy unalienable rights is not nationalism at all in a country where everything is built on that very precept. The house comes crumbling down.

Five stars isn't enough but I guess it's appropriate. The cast really does get better as the seasons go on... What makes this show so good is that at it's heart these characters are not cops, detectives, lawyers, commissioners. They are fathers, brothers, sisters, sons and daughters, and mothers whose faith and love for family gives them strength to make the hard choices and endure the hard things. I have a few issues I'd take up with the producers on characters disappearing between seasons but I'll keep this spoiler free since they don't read these anyway. ;) I hope you enjoy this show. It's one of the few family friendly shows out there these days.

The fact that this horrid movie is so liked is beyond frightening. Disgusting really and sadly pathetic in a weird dark way. The whole world seems miserably consumed with rage and darkness.

Wholly lacking in too many ways. Visually it's about par and what you'd expect from wasted hundreds of millions. It's not ten commandments and Ridley is no Cecil B. DeMille, not even close. This movie has no class and despite amazing potential is more like a b movie you'd expect from a newbie. The script leaves so much wanting and any potential for character development is blatantly sacrificed on an altar of ego. How disappointing.
