Although the beginning is slightly slow, it leads up to a great storyline. I would consider the first half thriller and the later half horror. Great concept of a teenage boy who has to take care of his younger siblings after a tragic accident leaves them without parents. While living in their parents house Ethan tries to continue his project of creating wireless electricity. In the process, he creates what he thinks is a way to connect to his parents who’ve passed. Little does he know, the door is open for more than just his parents.

It had a good concept with the art gallery and haunted paintings with an artist’s troubled past. However, the overall scare factor just wasn’t there. If you’re not super into scary this is a great starter movie. But for those who are looking to be on the edge of their seat and hiding under a blanket, this isn’t it.
