Resident Evil by name only, this latest attempt to cash in on the popular game IP came across to me as a passionless and incoherent mess. Is this a reboot? Movie canon? game canon? Original storyline? It hard to know what the intention is but the show is none of these. RE is a fumbling of a few established characters and concepts, half baked new ideas, sub-par production values and directionless writing. Even of you're just here for a few braindead action scenes and enjoy the tongue in cheek nature of the IP (as you should) those scenes were particularly unsatisfying and I left with the feeling there was nothing worthwhile for anyone. I recall the movies far more fondly though. Tl:dr this series is boring, it doesnt go all in on the weird and interesting concepts and or take the opportunity to do a focused and genuine horror story. Waste of time.

Another self indulgent movie that has no idea what it wants to be or where it's going. Ham-fisted dialogue and dead-end scenes can't even find a decent punchline in a sea of half-baked references and zombie movie tropes. A total waste of time unless you enjoy seeing Bill Murray and friends get paid to hang out.
