Such an amazing piece of work that shows the impact and importance of skating rinks in Black/minority communities! As someone who loves to skate, I found myself getting emotional because I could relate so much. The storyline in powerful and I love that it ends with a sense of hope and a call to action. There definitely needs to be more investment and advocacy for rollerskating rinks to remain open and for adult nights to become the norm rather than a once in a blue moon event.
