I've sent at least three (3) emails to 60 minutes, channel 9 and received no reply or response of any kind... Now they are showing something similar to what my complaint is that I wish to them about.

I like the show and it shows just how stupid or ignorant (possibly both) some people can be when it comes to safety in the water... What surprises me is how so many swimmers end up in the rip even after being told to move. Why can't these people swim between the flags like they're supposed to? Keep the yellow signs each side of the approach to the rip and have some red flags or signs between them. Change the name from backpackers rip to fool's rip or suicide rip or something that suggests its danger... Maybe some of these fools or suicidal risk takers just might start getting the message...
