Visually stunning, especially the opening "Circle of Life" sequence. However, the voice acting falls flat. Usually a big fan of Jon Favreau, but he missed the mark on this film. The dialogue is rushed, conversations lose their context, and Favreau even managed to get James Earl Jones to deliver a bland, uninspired version of his iconic Mufasa. For visual effects, worth a look, but for pure entertainment, stick with the original.
