Storyline a bit weak at times, plenty of ‘as if’s’ but acting good, Michelle Dockery was just outstanding! I’d love to see her playing the role of Kate the Barrister in a stand alone series, she was fabulous! The Whitehorse children reminded me of the Catherine Tate comedy sketch with the very posh Mum and her two children and once I thought of those sketches there was no getting it out of my head 😂

Only my 2nd Sophie Hannah Poroit book. Not great tbh, but disappointed. Ending seemed rushed, not enough Poroit. Too many ‘I’ll tell you more later’ moments. Still like the idea of Poroit being re-written with a Sophie Hannah flavour and I am looking forward to trying her third Poroit inspired book.
