The only good thing in 'Eerie' movie was the cinematography and the mood which didn't have any justice because of the horrible, cliché plot. The story is just as simple as "girl committed suicide and wanted revenge" like any other horror movies. The phasing was so slow, unremarkable characters specially with the girl students, too many unnecessary jumpscares, and yeah awful storyline.
I also thought that Charo Santos plays a very big role here but turned out she was totally pointless. Bea Alonzo was good, as well as Jake Cuenca. Maxene Magalona's character did not help anything in any way (her nun uniform contributed more than her herself).
In conclusion, I am so disappointed and hopeless with Filipino horror movies and don't understand the hype it got in 2018.
So trying hard, very pinoy.
