Laal Kaptaan has an interesting premise but it fails to captivate us because of a paceless screenplay. Even the high moments in the movie don't quite hit the high notes. The film has a lot of interesting characters with good, well developed arcs but still you don't connect to the emotions of the characters. You don't feel the protoganists anger, you don't feel a sense of satisfaction when he gets his revenge. I think the reason for this is the lagging screenplay. The actors give some great performances. Saif Ali Khan shines as a Naga Sadhu. And Deepak Dobriyals delivers a quirky and loveable performance. Overall Laal Kaptaan is a movie with a good plot which could have been a better movie.

Evaru is the second movie from India to adapt "The Invisible Guest". The movie starts with Sameera played by Regina Cassandra shooting DSP Ashok played by Naveen Chandra.The rest of the plot revolves around what actually happened that made Sameera shoot Ashok and the events which led to the fatal situation. The screenplay and the performances are very convincing especially Regina's acting is commendable. The one thing that was bothering me when watching the film was , all the characters conversing in Telugu even though most of the incidents take pace in Coonnor,Tamil Nadu. Even the tamil which the locals speak has a heavy telugu accent and this is a bit odd when watching the movie. Overall Evaru is a good movie which has it's own set of great moments and reveals which is definitely worth your time.

This is one of those films where every details lies there in front of you but they are subtle enough that you don't notice them upfront. Farhan Akthar and Amithab Bacchan Deliver solid performances and the cinematography keeps you engrossed. But the downside of Wazir is that in some places it just stops being grounded and makes you feel you are watching a movie.This distances you from the characters. Also there are some logical loop holes which further distances the viewer from the movie. On the whole Wazir is a good thriller that falls a step short of being a great movie.

In a time where over the top action , high tech gadgets and superhuman protagonist have all become synonymous with the spy thriller genre Kahaani is a superbly written , character driven spy thriller with grounded and well written characters.The writing is perfectly executed on screen with a brilliant performance from Vidya Balan as Vidya Bagchi and Parambrata Chatterjee as Satyoki Sinha.Set in Kolkata the movie captures the ambience and the culture of the city in a surreal manner.Throughout the film the story keeps dropping hints and gives you moments where you sense something is not right. The way the movie ties all the loose ends in the climax is commendable.On the whole Kahaani is a must watch movie and one of the best thrillers made in Bollywood.

A cop story told In a simple and beautiful way. It takes the audience for a de tour into the life of a cop. It shows us the face of the police department in a way no other movie has done before in a light hearted and subtle manner . Nivin Pauly excels as Bijju Paulose a college professor turned police inspector. It has a mix a humor, emotion, action and sentiments in the right proportions. Action Hero Bijju is a very grounded and very real take on the cop story genre. It candidly captures the environment of your neighborhood police station. On the whole a must watch movie.
