This show was great. I am sorry to see it go. Hemphill and Kiernan are geniuses. It must have been herculean task to both write and act in each episode. Admittedly, I had to rely on the subtitles as the Scottish accent was at times difficult to follow, but I learned to adapt and thoroughly enjoyed the program. In short, it was extremely hilarious, well done, and I will terribly miss it. I rate it up there with some of the finest US classic television comedies. I felt like I knew the characters. The actors had a wonderful rapport and were quite believable in their respective roles. The ending was somewhat melancholy, as to be expected, but they did it in such a way that it could be possible to one day return and fill in the time between the last scene at the campground and the demise of the main older characters at the end of the episode. The way they ended it with Bobby behind the bar and his final line was moving and memorable. I hope they will consider coming back sometime.
