I watched a few episodes of this show and I must say that it is okish but not something worth watching or completing an entire season of.
I feel like it lacks a proper storyline. The only good things about this show are that it shows how the characters' personalities may have developed over the years, and how they may have met one another/gotten to know each other. From what i noticed, i feel like the personalities have changed too much, particularly Gwen, who is much more heavily into the goth and supernatural culture, and considering this is a kids' show, wouldn't this sort of personality/interest be too much for a kid to take in?
I love the original Total Drama series along with Ridonculous Race, which is aimed at teens as opposed to Dramarama being aimed at kids. They are absolutely hilarious and the challenges are very intense. The only series i didn't like was Pahkitew Island. All the others are funny, and i am certainly not keen on dramarama.
After watching a few episodes, 2 questions came across my mind:
1. I know Total Drama and 6Teen were made by the same company/people but why add in Jude from 6Teen in this series if he has absolutely no connection with any of the other characters later on?
2. How can any of these characters possibly know each other if when they appear as teenagers in the original series, they don't seem to know each other/have a past history or connection with one another at all?
Overall, as an adult viewer, i would recommend you watch the original Total Drama series as it is much funnier. Dramarama is ok for kids aged 7-10, but even so i wouldn't suggest watching it due to the lack of a proper storyline for this series, making it a very confusing show.
