Great performances, but was kind of a waste of time. Sometimes surrealism and pretentiousness merge to this point of entangling so that you aren't sure where one ends and the other begins. This film feels like it is mocking you, and I'm fine with that. But I feel as though 2.25 hours of drawl with some actual good stuff isn't enough to keep many entertained. As a fan of many pretentious works, this didn't quite hit the mark for me. If you have a lot of time to kill and are an amateur critic ready to pay attention, then I would recommend this film. However for most people, it is just a bit of a downer that will needlessly confuse you.
