A throwback to Eddie's greatest acting. Brought back a lotta memories from those years. The plot was good, acting was great, funny witty, I really enjoyed it.

Would have gotten 4 had the world map not of shown Antarctica, little mistake on the history buffs but very important. Details matter.

Why is it that most of these types of shows think that suspense is synonymous with boring. Slow, very slow. Some of these other reviews are outlandish to say the least. 10/10, acting 100/10 blah blah blah. Its plot is telecasted, directing is below par but if you need to waste an hr this will do the trick.

Its got elements of Breaking Bad, Get Shorty, Sopranos, and that aussie mad max shadow. Pretty good, can be slow at times but it holds your interest.

Slow. I understand the building of plots but Sheridan went too slow on this one. It wouldn't be hard to follow if you came in on episode 3. The first two have information you can actually guess about in the 3rd episode. If this is how slow Bass's life was then Hollywood is deff taking artistic expression to a new level.

All I could do was think of was Sheldon and the crew playing this on The Big Bang. No excitement, plot mediocre, acting - at times its like they are reading it right from the script. I juggled between this and Redfield and I juggled wrong. Predictable, I'm writing this review as its playing so should tell you how much its captivated me. Guess I'll scroll through Instagram this is quite boring.

While Steven King is known for style this borrows from a lot of other stuff he has written It has an elements of pet cemetery, IT, dreamcatcher but most notably was Fallen (Denzel Washington 1998). I kept thinking belzebub or Azazel or Legion. Its like he couldn't be bothered to come up with a fresh idea so he bundled a lot from his other stories and a some from other authors some hints of Jack Reacher here and there. It had suspense in it, the plot spoiler alert its a shape shifter imagine that from King? I binge watched it in a day and often times fast forwarded through slow bits as the plot was easily seen at times especially after the 3rd or 4th episode. Takes a while, slow plot. Not the big screen but its ok. In the absence of good movies for two years loads of people think this was 5 stars. I expect more from Kevin but I understand were all getting back into somewhat normal.

While Gadot's performance at times was believable, she didnt have the same command as she did in WW and League of Justic. I would have liked to see a bit more of the origins than what it covered. The main enemy didnt feel like an enemy, wasnt noticeable, the female enemy didnt fare well with her acting or her heart wasnt into it. Chris Pine reprises his role, but its a one way mirror kinda roll. Im glad I had hbo max and didnt pay to go see it, 15 bucks a month is a great deal! There were some great scenes in it but overall Id of liked to have seen a bit better enemies, but DC has always been a bit lacking on the inventiveness of enemies.
