This was such a raw and touching book, and I finished it in two sittings! This made me feel so much anger, sadness and disgust for Dani and Claire, especially since this novel was based on the author's personal experience. But also pride for the two protagonists of this story, for taking action even though everyone around them was telling them to give up and stay silent. Sidenote: I wish that the two main protagonists had more moments together instead of always fighting or ignoring each other. Otherwise, a wonderful book tackling extremely prominent issues within our society. Please take some time to read and appreciate this book! But note that this book contains rape, sexual assault, racism, and sexism!
