I was totally underwhelmed by this film! I think that the producers & directors were so careful about treading on numerous sensitivities that a viewer such as me was left wonduring about so many aspects of the film & the particular characters such as Martin & his mother & his father. You were provided with almost zero as to their respective backgrounds. I In addition, I would have liked to have seen how the various characters reacted to the ultimate shooting frenzy at Port Arthur. I would have liked to seen more of this content from a police & judicial & medical perspectives. I simply think that this film was far too short & so did not adequately address many areas including what the main protagonist actually suffrred from what I was curious about

Excellent acting performances accompanied by consistently well-written plots against the backdrop of marvellous Welsh locations. Simply a must-watch!

Perhaps one of the most insightful films about the war-time experience that I have ever seen. An absolute must-watch. Brutal but extremely moving at the same time.
