Though the storyline may appear a bit silly, the acting by the major 5 stars actually make this a very good movie. It is actually loosely based on a true story which i did not know until the end. Pacino's performance is terrific and does show the reality of aging rock stars very well. Annette Benning simply great, same for Christopher Plummer. I actually found it tremendously entertaining and the storyline did not push the easy, usual, syrupy way. The script was good. After watching made me look up details of the story. Pacino, as always, played the part perfectly and his aging rock star character is pretty spot on. A good movie. Soundtrack is just great.
