If only Judge Judy were President of the USA!

Pretty mediocre, with questionable casting and some unconvincing & disappointing acting. Inconsistency in relations of characters to one another due to different accents. Storyline lame and boring, outdated and been done before. An unbelievable series of events, a plot with holes in, bad acting, all in all this left me not intrigued enough to want to know more, or even care about the characters. Two and a half star rating at best.

Completely gripped by this fabulous drama. The acting is superb, beautifully written, definitely suspenseful, a great period piece - at last something with character and story development around an interesting time in our history. Begs for another season!

Started off well but as it progressed the storyline became very predictable, repetitive and boring. Too much of the same scenarios, same episodic plots, and evidence of shoddy, unimaginative scriptwriting.

I love period dramas, but this was most probably the worst I have ever watched. Poor, unimaginative storyline, very predictable (seems to have stolen ideas from other TV series), mediocre acting and shoddy costume and set design. Was this perhaps an attempt to make period dramas popular with the uninformed, or the younger viewer? Very disappointing.

Loved every minute! Great storyline with just the right balance of humour, emotion, laughter, sadness and reality - and some great music to top it off.

Great series, loved the actors and their portrayal and development of their roles, captivating storyline. Loved it!

Excellent series! Current and realistic - highly recommended.
