I’m waiting for James’ apology. BTS have done so much with the amount of fame they have earned WITH their blood, sweat and tears and to use it to speak on world problems or be a voice for the youth shouldn’t make them “unusual visitors” who came to speak at the UN about these exact issues.
Also, the stereotypical “all ARMYs are 15-year-olds” is so old? BTS’ fandom has been proven to be one of the most diverse fandoms existing today, ranging from all genders, ages, and races. Knowing James had a script to read off of for this show, he knew what he was doing and willingly chose to include it in the segment.
I’m honestly disappointed that he couldn’t even take a bit of his time to make research in what the term ARMY and the people who take part in it represent. Also being someone who has met and interacted with the guys, it makes it even more weird since BTS have always been about using their platform to bring a positive impact on society.
