I wouldn't wish a show like this on my worst enemies. I don't think whoever wrote this has a sense of reality nor cared about the IP they were really working with. If you think this is good television, your probably economically incentivezed to say so either because Disney paid you or your holding Disney shares. Besides not recommending this, I also think it would be wise for any investor to heavily consider keeping money with Disney any further.

In 2024, the game is starting to show its age- however its still one of the best cinematic, fresh real time action rpg-like, space operaish games of our lifetime excluding any opinion of the sequels. Certain elements like voice dialogue sometimes feel strange and slightly out of place at times by today's standards, however the overall robustness of gameplay still holds up somewhat better then modern titles of the current era of pc games. If this was 2010, easy 5 stars but I have to give it a 4, as even with the newer legendary edition which includes 1 2 and 3, the game is starting to show its age heavily as the years will pass and at least to me doesn't have the same nostalgic punch as titles like Half-life 1 + 2, but it's not a bad game in any regard either.

The entire bundle (base game + DLC's) is totally worth it. Base game by itself seems a bit underwhelming. That said you have cross platform COOP campaigns and practically endless replay value in two staged type of game. You have a strategic / logistics layer you need to keep in mind as your campaign takes you across the galaxy, and then you have the combat level which will affect your strategic level to certain degrees. Game is semi basic, but an excellent addition and similar to MW4 Mercs style of MechWarrior games. If you liked MechWarrior before, you won't be disappointed.
