Being a lover of the Broadway genre, I found this movie to be absolutely perfect. The casting was brilliant. The surprises were wonderful. The music was intense when needed, and every aspect of this film was true to the Broadway stage production and more! I even found myself going much deeper with this movie, feeling Elphaba's exclusion based on her color and being different, just so many levels! We were singing Defying Gravity as we left the theater! Cannot wait for Part 2.
