"I don't feel I have to wipe everybody out Tom, just my enemies, that's all." The Godfather 2 is a brilliant movie. From Vito's backstory to Michael's present day problems, this movie has so much to offer and it was one I definitely couldn't refuse. I enjoyed the new characters presented such as Pentangeli and Hyman Roth. Of course, Al Pacino's acting was brilliant (still don't understand why he didn't win an Oscar for his performance) and De Niro didn't disappoint either as young Vito. This movie definitely outdoes the original in terms of cinematography but I will have to say, if I were forced to choose between Godfather 1 or 2, I'd still stick with the original by a margin, mainly because of Marlon Brando's performance and I do prefer Clemenza over Pentangeli, but thats not to diminish part 2 in any way because both movies are fantastic. The celebration of the San Gennaro festival in 1920 (Vitos story) along with the Cuban revolution makes the cinematography great. From both parallel stories, to the characters, cinematography, its structure, and its intricate plot, the Godfather 2 rightfully sits behind the original as my second favorite movie of all time and it is my favorite sequel of all time. Strongly recommend watching 10/10

I purchased this movie along with the Godfather 2, 8 months ago back in April. For some reason, I kept putting this franchise off to watch other movies. Last night I finally decided to sit down and watch this incredible movie and it simply did NOT disappoint. From the opening scene to the last, I was constantly at the edge of my seat. This is now my favorite movie of all time. Watching the transformation of Michael from being a family man to slowly becoming a cold blooded, heartless killer was spectacular. The baptism scene finale along with the restaurant scene built so much suspense and I loved it. And of course Marlon Brando's role as Vito was amazing as well, along with James Caan, John Cazale, and Robert Duvall. I'm going to watch Godfather Part 2 in a couple of days and I've heard a lot of great things about it, many say its better than the original and I'm excited to see what happens. Overall the original is amazing and spectacular and I strongly recommend watching this at least once in your lifetime. 10/10 movie

10/10 movie highly recommend watching My favorite Rocky sequel by far. The intro is great because it shows Rocky getting caught up in the fame and fortune and loses his “eye of the tiger” while his new opponent Clubber Lang is rising through the ranks. Mickeys death was sad along with Rocky getting humiliated by Clubber but it opened up Apollos opportunity to help out Rocky. I love how the former rivalry turned into an amazing friendship. (wish sadly ended in Rocky IV which is one of the reasons I didn’t really enjoy that movie) The training montage is my favorite one aside from the original and the second fight was great. 3 rounds full of action! And I can’t forget the awesome ending. The Apollo and Rocky private boxing match with the ending showing a freeze frame while both are throwing the first punches. Can’t forget about the awesome well known song that I’m sure everyone has listened to at least once, Eye of the Tiger! Great cast, especially with the addition of Mr. T! I honestly think Clubber is a better villain than Drago. Great movie!

SPOILERS: Rocky is a classic underdog movie that will never get old. A local Philadelphia boxer getting a shot at the world heavyweight championship. It's not just a boxing movie, it's a movie about life. The messages in this film can still be applied today in this society. There are so many scenes in this movie that stick out, even 47 years after the release. My favorites include the Pain and Experience (Rocky yelling at Mickey but quickly forgives him), Philadelphia Morning, the scene where he tells Adrian he doesn't think he can win but he wants to go the distance, and the training montage. The ending was executed perfectly because Rocky didn't win, but he went the distance against Creed, which was his goal. The scenery in this movie is incredible and it makes sense why it won Best Picture. Despite being a low budget film, it turned out to be one of the most loved and influential movies of all time. Sly, Carl, Talia, and Burgess fit into their roles perfectly. This movie never fails to motivate me. 10/10 highly recommend watching!
