The book and movie are different. If you really want to experience something amazing then I would recommend the novel. If you read it then will you realise how much differences are there between the movie and the novel. Sonam's acting- as always mediocre. Not even mediocre. Below. I guess she poured her lifetime acting skills in Neerja. Dq Salman- fantastic. He deserved a better movie.
