I like to imagine she did both she checked in at school and automatically went over to his house she tells him that she can’t be here anymore and he tells her that he can’t either so they have the birthday party they record some of it when they eat cake it’s quiet they get up and when they reach the door they kiss he has his computers in his backpack and for an hour and a half they walk silently hand in hand to get her cinder blocks they find a little lake maybe say they have the hots for each other or maybe they open up about everything but in the end they are weighed down by their escapes holding hands reassuring each other till the end
